Bond Elut Plexa polymer SPE products provide a simple and easy-to-use analytical method, simplifying the sample pretreatment process. The hydroxylated outer surface that is easily wetted by water can increase the flow rate of the sample, and even achieve better flow rates for biological liquid samples. The polarity gradient on the polymer surface pushes small molecule analytes towards the more hydrophobic core of the polymer particles, allowing them to be retained before rinsing and elution. Due to its unique polymer structure with a non retaining, hydroxylated, and amino free surface, and its non-polar PS/DVB core that can retain small molecules, Plexa's performance is enhanced. Proteins and lipids bound to the polymer surface are minimized, resulting in cleaner samples and reduced matrix interference effects.
